Careers - Intermediate Software Developer

Adlib's on-going growth as a leading supplier of enterprise software around the globe has necessitated an expansion of our internal development team based in Burlington, Ontario.

We are looking for a highly motivated, energetic professional with a passion for technology to contribute to our ongoing development of enterprise level document conversion software.

Position Summary:

This role will report to the Development Manager and is responsible for development of new and existing software to solve complex technical requirements.

Compensation will be commensurate with experience and will include base salary and performance-based bonus components.

Requirements:

The Intermediate Software Developer must be experienced and knowledgeable in many of the following:

C++, C#, Java programming languages
PDF specification and technology
XML, XSLT, XSL-FO, SOAP technology
Extensive experience with Microsoft Office and IBM SmartSuite Application APIs
Working with different file formats and conversion
Web Technologies such as XML, ASP, HTML, PHP
Working with Enterprise Content Management (ECM)
Integration with Microsoft SharePoint, Documentum, Livelink, Interwoven and Filenet

This person must have a minimum of four years of work experience using these tools and be familiar with standard software development concepts, practices and procedures. This person will have completed a degree/diploma in computer science and have strong analysis skills.

The incumbent must have good problem solving skills that demonstrate their technical abilities. Strong organizational and communication skills are required, as well as the ability to work effectively under pressure.
